In June, China's export business for ammonium paratungstate and tungsten trioxides resumed. Specifically, 40 tons of ammonium paratungstate were exported to Japan, with an export value of RMB 8.9714 million (unit price approximately RMB 224,000/ton); and 20 tons of tungsten trioxides were exported to South Korea, with an export value of RMB 5.0527 million (unit price approximately RMB 253,000/ton). The shippers were all registered in Fujian Province.
According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in June 2025, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) amounted to 1,262.66 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 21.89% compared to June 2024, and a month-on-month decrease of 2.51% compared to May 2025. The export value was RMB 418 million, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 13.76% and a month-on-month increase of 6.00%.

Tungsten hexafluoride: 16.74 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 64.54% and a month-on-month decrease of 60.42%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 40 tons, a year-on-year increase of 71.67%, with no export data from March to May.
Sodium tungstate: 100 kilograms, with no export data for both year-on-year and month-on-month comparisons.
Ammonium metatungstate: 303.20 tons, a year-on-year increase of 37.29% and a month-on-month decrease of 37.11%.
Carbides of tungsten: 201.80 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 49.98% and a month-on-month increase of 131.42%.
Ferro-tungsten: 119.30 tons, a year-on-year increase of 35.41% and a month-on-month decrease of 58.15%.
Tungsten powders: 138.45 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 51.43% and a month-on-month increase of 142.76%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars and rods obtained simply by sintering: 210.20 tons, a year-on-year increase of 400.48% and a month-on-month decrease of 12.19%.
Tungsten wire: 35.77 tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.87% and a month-on-month increase of 32.30%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 40.70 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.75% and a month-on-month increase of 62.80%.
Bars and rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering; profiles, plates, etc.: 27.65 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 50.04% and a month-on-month decrease of 10.06%.
